Information requirements for management are so complexthat information derived from operational databases (OPDB)by information profession are not suitable for managers. Toeffectively use data resource, approaches are needed becauseeven managers are hard to know exactly what information theyneed. This study analysis approaches to the effective use ofdata resource, and propose a new information model, which isbased on the view point of system dynamics and informationfeedback theory. According to the model, procedures toderive feedback information from OPDB are provided. And thestudy takes case of Tsz-Chi Foundation (TCF), the largestfoundation in Taiwan, to demonstrate the model and theprocedures.
