The problem of time-delay in control system is very significant, since it is frequently a source of instability and oftem encountered in various engineering systems. In this theses, we discuss how to analyze and stabilize time delay systems. And we have the following main results. 1. We propose some criteria to ensure the exponential stability of the uncertain commensurate time-delay systems. 2. Two criteria are proposed to ensure that the uncertain large scale commensurate time-delay system with memoryless state feedback is exponentially stable. 3. A delay-dependent stability criterion is presented to assign decentralized control laws such taht the stability of closed loop overall time-delay systems cna be guaranteed in the presence of unceratain perturbation and time- delay.
