Multimedia is an integrated application combining different
media. Specially, the video medium includes color, action, and
sound, so it is more directly impress people by use it to
present some information. However a good video program is not
easy to make. It needs an equipment of editing video during
producing. The most import process of editing video is to find
the video contents that will be edit. Because the traditional
video editing system directly uses videotape to execute the
editing job, this kind of on-line editing system uses a method
of linear and sequence access to search a video frame. So, the
searching speed is slow and it will generate some scuff on the
videotape to influence the quality of video. For the reason, we
design a multimedia video editing system. In this editing
system, we transfer analog video content to digital multimedia
video. Then, we can use the property of non-linear and random
access to improve the drawback of traditional video editing. By
multimedia video editing system, users can edit videotape and
produce multimedia video.
