Many expertes believe that Kant''s philosophy is between Chu Hsi''s and Mengtzu. Although some are pro and another are con, there dosen''t exist a detail comparison between Chu Hsi''s and Kant''s moralphilosophy. The comparison should be confined in five points ,1): united Principle and Element vs. divided Nou- menon and Phenomenon; 2): Causality between funktion and effect vs. Causality between moral law and maxim; 3): Respect under law vs. Obey principle with respect; 4): human desire limited by natural order vs. moral good against evil; 5) adjusted alived sage vs. ideal person in belief. My result points out that although both have many similarit- ies between Chu Hsi''s and Kant''s moralphilosophy. But their foun- dations are not identical. Because of difference between Noume- non and Phenomenon Kant has to distinguish two different causa- lity, i.e. of freedom and of nature. The Sensible and unsensible world can be united only under the strength of God. The human Being itself is unable to conpromise the fight between good and evil. On the other hand Chu Hsi believes that principle and ele-ment don''t exist without each other. Good or evil will be judged by the moderation under principle, not by the choice of selec-tive will. The human spirit is identical with the world spirit,so that the immortality is possible in this finite being. The belief on a outward God is entirely unnecessary. The capability to react in mind which is composed from principle and element,is automatic, and shouldn''t be thought only as a passive talent which can be stimulated by the moral law.
