本研究係利用發泡法(Gas Forming Process)對一般工業上常用之鍛造及
鑄造用鋁合金 製作發泡金屬。製程包括以「通氣法」、「合金法」及「
粒子散佈法」使鋁湯增黏至適當黏度後,於特定溫度下混入適量之發泡劑
使之發泡,並且冷卻後形成發泡鋁合金。其間對於母材種類、增黏方法、
增黏劑種類及用量、發泡劑種類及用量、發泡溫度、發泡時間、攪拌時間
與方式等各項控制變數進行觀察及研究評估,以尋得穩定製程並了解各項
變數之影響。研究結果顯示,上述各項變數對各種鋁合金的發泡結果均會
產生相當的影響,然而只要能將各種鋁合金的母材增黏至適當黏度後,配
合不同之發泡劑、發泡溫度及良好攪拌方式後,可以有效發泡出氣泡孔
徑2-3mm,密度0.2-0.3g/c.c. 之良好發泡鋁合金。
The foamed metal, that is, metal having a plurality of randomly
dispersed closed cells throughout a metal matrix, have recently
attracted many attentions for their potential on many
applications including acoustic absorption, vibration
isolation, low thermal conduction, fire isolation, electricity
and magnetism shielding, etc. On the production of foamed
metal, a preferred method is the gas forming process which uses
a heat decomposable foaming agent to generate the gas to foam
the cells. In this study, the gas forming process used in a
variety of commercial aluminum alloys and scrap aluminum alloys
was examined. The controlling factors for generate the gas to
foam the cells. In this study, the gas forming process used in

controlling factors for a steady process of making foamed
aluminum alloys including alloy decompositions, the types of
metal, a perferred method is the gas forming process which uses
a heat decomposable foaming agent to generate the gas to foam
the cells. In this study, the gas forming process used in a
variety of commercial aluminum alloys and scrap aluminum alloys
was examined. The controlling factors for generate the gas to

decompositions, the types of thickening, thickening agents and
their amounts, blowing agents and their amount, foaming

disscussed.
