本研究以經人工腓骨骨折手術後的兔子腓骨為實驗模式,並以此模式作為
中藥膏配合電刺激促進骨折癒合之研究。研究目的旨在探討中藥膏配合電
刺激於治療骨折時,其癒合情形是否比單獨使用中藥膏或是電刺激時還好
、還快。實驗共選取90隻健康成熟的紐西蘭公白兔,體重範圍為2.5∼3.0
kg,而平均體重為 2.7kg。選用的中藥膏有兩帖,分別為「萬靈膏」及「
如意金黃散」,而採用的電刺激型式則為電容耦合式電場刺激(
Capacitively coupled electrical field )。為了便於對治療效果作評
估,實驗共分六大組進行,以隨機抽樣法分組,分別為控制組、萬靈膏組
、如意金黃散組、電刺激組、萬靈膏加電刺激組、及如意金黃散加電刺激
組等。實驗兔隻的右腿先施以人工腓骨骨折手術,用前裝骨鑽頭(Bone
bur)的電鑽將腓骨橫向鋸斷,鋸斷的骨縫(Gap)約1mm,然後於右腿骨折處
再施以三週的治療。最後於治療結束時將兔隻犧牲並取出腓骨,以組織切
片法 (Histologic procedure):包括接觸性顯微放射攝影學、光源鏡學
和螢光鏡學等,來觀察骨折處外表與組織結構上的變化情形,以評估治療
的結果。實驗結果均顯示,各治療組的癒合速度均明顯地比控制組快,這
證實了這幾種治療模式於治療骨折時,均有促進骨折癒合的作用。在各實
驗組中,萬靈膏加電刺激組的癒合速度不僅明顯地比控制組快以外,也明
顯地比其它各治療組還快,這證明了萬靈膏配合電刺激的治療有某種程度
的加成性,使得它的療效比單獨接受萬靈膏、或電刺激治療時還顯著,同
時也是各實驗組中療效最好的。至於其它各治療組的療效則相近,但也都
比控制組還顯著。

The aim of this research was to find out if Chinese medicat- ed
plaster associated with electrical stimulation for bone heal-
ing would work better than any one of them used alone. To reach
the goal, ninety healthy, mature New Zealand white male rabbits
weighted from 2.5kg to 3.0kg with an average weight of 2.7kg
we- re chosen. Two kinds of Chinese medicated plasters "Wan-
Ling Pa- ste"and "Ru-Yih-Jin-Hwang-Sann" were applied. The type
of elect- rical stimulation used was "capacitively coupled
electrical fie- ld". In order to evaluate the effect of
therapy, the subjects w- ere randomly divided into six parts
which consisted of "Control group", "Wan-Ling Paste group", "Ru-
Yih-Jin- Hwang-Sann group", "Electrical Stimulation group",
"Wan-Ling Paste plus Electrical Stimulation group" and the last
one "Ru-Yih-Jin-Hwang-Sann plus Electrical Stimulation group".
First, the rabbits received fibu- la osteotomies operation in
the right legs and were amputated h- orizontally in the fibulae
by bone burs. The gap was about 1mm. After three weeks of
therapy, the rabbits were sacrified and the fibulae were taken
out for evaluation by histological procedure. The procedure
consisting of "contact microradiograpy", "histomo- rphometry"
and "fluorgraphy" was used to observe the appearence of bone
fracture and the change in the tissue organization. In the
results, "Control group" was working less effectively than the
other groups. This showed that those kinds of therapies were
very effective in the bone fracture healing. Among them, "Wan-
Ling Paste plus Electrical Stimulation group" was even more
effective than "Control group" and the other groups. This was
an evidence that Chinese medicated plaster associated with
electri- cal stimulation surpassed all the other therapies in
bone fratu- re healing.
