先前具有產卵經驗的瘦蜂產卵於美洲蜚蠊卵鞘後的三天內可以縮短下一次
產卵所花費的時間, 因而增加產卵的效率.在方形四臂嗅覺測定器內具有
產卵經驗的瘦蜂尋找美洲蜚蠊卵鞘與卵鞘外殼碎片所花費的時間短於無產
卵經驗的瘦蜂, 因此瘦蜂的產卵經驗會增加往後尋找寄主的效率. 具有產
卵經驗的瘦蜂與無產卵經驗者在嗅覺測定器內可被塗有雌性美洲蜚蠊的後
腸研磨物, 後腸分泌物之黑豆及美洲蜚蠊之糞便所吸引, 所以這些物質含
有瘦蜂尋找寄主的化學物質, 而具有產卵經驗的瘦蜂在嗅覺測定器內尋找
含這些物質的黑豆之時間比無經驗者短.雌性美洲蜚蠊的生殖副腺, 唾液
腺, 後腸研磨物及後腸分泌物分別單獨塗抹於黑豆時能引起瘦蜂產生觸角
敲擊與產卵管探測的產卵行為,將雌性美洲蜚蠊的生殖副腺, 唾液腺, 後
腸研磨物混合塗抹於黑豆上時,則能夠提高引起瘦蜂產卵管探測的比率.
所以雌性美洲蜚蠊的這些組織器官內含有瘦蜂辨識寄主的物質.將雌性美
洲蜚蠊的生殖副腺, 唾液腺, 後腸研磨物混合塗於平板玻璃或濾紙上時,
只能引起瘦蜂產生觸角敲擊的產卵行為, 而不能引起瘦蜂伸出產卵管探
測. 當這些雌性美洲蜚蠊的物質塗抹於長方形立體玻璃, 圓形立體玻璃,
黑豆與黃豆時, 則可以引出瘦蜂產卵管探測的行為.
The prior oviposition experience of Evania appendigaster on the
ootheca of periplaneta americana would shorten the next
oviposition duration if the oviposition behavior occurred
within 3 days.In a four-arm olfactometer, the E.appendigaster
with oviposition experience spent shorter time in finding out
the debris of the naive, so the prior experience would increase
the efficiency of spotting the ootheca host. Both E.
appendigaster with and aithout oviposition experience were
attracted by the black bean spread with the homogenized hind-
gut substance and hind gut secretion separately and the feces
of P. americana, probably because these substances contained a
certain chemical that would attract the E. appendigaster when
it was looking for the host. Furthermore, it was faster for the
E. appendigaster with oviposition experience to locate these
substance than that of the naive. The oviposition behavior of E.
appendigaster, such as the drumming and the tapping behavior
with the ovipositor, was induced by the black bean covered
separately with the accessory gland, salivary gland, hind-gut
substance and hind-gut secretion of the female P. americana.
The percentage of tapping behavior was raised by the black bean
spread with the mixture of the above substances of the female
E. appendigaster therefore, certain material maybe existed in
these tissues that helped the E. appendigaster discover the
host. The mixture of the homogenized accessory gland, salivary
gland and hind-gut of the female P. americana, when spread on a
place of flat glass and the filter paper, attracted only the
occurrence the drumming, not the tapping behavior. However,
when the mixture was paved on the surface a glass cube, a glass
ball, a black bean and a soybean, it induced the tapping
behavior.
