A practical power supply normally employs an isolation transformer. In a practical transformer model, leakage inductance and magnetizing inductance must be considered in circuit analy- sis and can be utilized to achieve zero-current switching(ZCS). In this report, we are going to propose a new kind of resonant converter topology switching at zero current.Utilizing the leakage inductance of the transformer and an capacitor in parallel with the transformer to yield resonance and to achieve ZCS for both the switch and the diode, the switching loss will be reduced and the switching frequency can be raised. The steady-state analysis of this converter is presented using the periodicity of the time-domain waveforms. In this analysis, appropriate bases for voltage, current, impedance, etc. Are chosen. consequently the normalized output voltage and current characteristics can be established to obtain the output-plane model for the analysis of nonlinear loads. Using the switch off-time as a control variable, we can plot the normalized output characteristics and regulate the output voltage by varying the switch off-time . Furthermore , the state-plane analysis is employed to visualized the equilibrium trajectory .Finally ,the small-signal equivalent circuit is derived for controller design.
