固體表面的潤濕性在滴式冷凝的程序上扮演很重要的角色,在本文中藉著
溶液沈浸法及真空蒸鍍法的程序,來改變固體表面的潤濕性,使其成為疏水
性的表面.實驗結果發現,同樣以硬脂酸對固體表面進行改質,因為改質方
法的不同,造成不同的結果,若以真空蒸鍍法對固體表面改質,藉著蒸鍍不
同的厚度可達到不的程度的改質,結果可發現蒸鍍10-20nm的厚度時固體表
面上的硬脂可達完全覆蓋,且蒸鍍厚度越厚越耐水洗.而以沈浸法沈浸的濃
度不同確實可使表面達不同程度的改質,但均無法達到如真空蒸鍍改質的
程度,另外對於沈浸後的固體表面施以熱處理確實可使表面硬脂酸的覆蓋
率增加,且附著力亦提高.

The wettability of a solid surface plays an important role in
dropwise condensation. In this article, the processes of
solution dipping and vacuum deposition were used to modify the
wettability of solid surface. With these technique, the stearic
acid was deposiyion onto the glass surface in order to prepare a
hydrophobic surface. The experimental results show that, for the
process of vacuum deposition, the contact angle increases with
the increasing of film thickness. At the film thickness of 10-20
nm, the glass surface will be completely covered by the
deposited stearic acid, and the further increase of thickness
makes little change to the contact angle. Besides, the endurance
of the deposited film increase as the film grows thicker. For
the method of solution dipping, the contact angle also increases
with the increasing of solution concentration. However, the
maximum contact angle is smaller than what obtained by the
vacuum deposition, no matter what the dipping condition is.
Various condition of heat treatment was done on the stearic acid
films which prapared by the solution dipping. It is found that
suitable heat treatment do increase the surface coverage ratio
and the endurace of the thin films.
