近年來國內各項重大建設陸續施工,許多地上和地下工程因穿越斷層
帶而提供了新鮮斷層泥取樣地點,有助於斷層泥之研究。本研究以施加應
力為 44,410 kPa 之壓密儀,對隧道內之斷層泥進行壓密試驗;進行單階
段的三軸不排水剪力試驗,以瞭解斷層泥於受剪時之行為;以X-RAY繞射
分析(XRD)對斷層泥進行黏土礦物成分分析,瞭解其黏土礦物之相對含量
;使用掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM) 對斷層泥進行組構以及三軸試驗後破壞面
之觀察。 研究結果顯示,金盈斷層
泥之Cc值約為 0.147及 0.170,預壓密應力約為 13,100及 15,200 kPa
,過壓密比(OCR)約為 2;三義斷層泥之Cc值約為 0.211 及0.220,預壓
密應力約為 12,100及 13,000kPa,過壓密比約為 6。 由
單階段壓密不排水三軸壓縮試驗結果顯示,新店地表斷層泥之c''為 1 kPa
,φ''為 30度;新莊地表斷層泥之c''為 26 kPa ,φ''為 13度;金盈斷層
泥之c''為 104 kPa ,φ''為18度。

依X-RAY繞射分析結果顯示,各斷層泥其黏土礦物有伊利石、綠泥石、高
嶺 石及蒙脫石,而以伊利石的含量最高;非黏土礦物有石英與長石類,
金盈斷層泥與新莊斷層泥有黃鐵礦的出現。

以掃描式電子顯微鏡觀察結果顯示,基本顆粒排列以部分可識別顆粒排列
為主;規則聚集體與顆粒基質為常見之顆粒組合,並沒有發現結合物的存
在;平行方向所觀察的微組構中,以規則聚集體與顆粒基質為主,常有渦
輪狀之構造出現,愈靠近擦痕面顆粒之順向排列愈顯著。
In recent years, several large constructions are being
constructed in Taiwan. There were many constructions of
ground and underground through the fault zones, supplied
the location to collect fresh samples. It is helpful to the
study of fault gouges. This research used the
consolidation tests that could consolidate at a maximum stress
of 44,410 kPa, carried out on the specimens offault gouge from
tunnel. The consolidated undrained triaxial compression
testcarried out to understand the shearing behavior. The X-ray
diffraction of clayminerals carried out to understand the
composition of fault gouges. Thescanning electron
microscope was used to observe the fabric and the failuresurface
of sampleof triaxial compression test.

The results of this research revealed that Cc values of Jining
Fault gouge are about 0.147 and 0.170, preconsolidation
pressures are about 13,100 and 15,200 kPa, and the
overcosolidation ratio (OCR) is about 2. The Cc values of Sani
Fault gouge are about 0.211 and 0.220,
preconsolidation pressures are 12,100 and 13,000 kPa, and the
overcosolidation ratio is about 6.

The cosolidated undrained triaxial compression test comes out
the results that the value of c'' is 1 kPa, the value of φ''
is 30 degree for the surface fault gouge of Hsintien fault; the
value of c'' is 26 kPa, the value ofφ'' is 13 degree for the
surface fault gouge of Hsinchuang fault: the value of c'' is 104
kPa, the value of φ'' is 18 degree for the tunnel fault gouge
of Jining fault.

The mineral composition was recognized from the resylts of X-ray
diffraction, clay minerals were composed of illite, chlorite,
kaolinite and montmorillonite. The illite is the main clay
mineral of fault gouge. The non-clay minerals were composed of
quartz and feldspar. Results from scanning
electron microscope showed that major elementaryparticle
arrangement was the partly discernible particle system. Regular
aggregations and clay matrix were found in all samples. No
connectors werefound. The regular aggregations and clay matrix
were major fabric in the parallel observance. The turbostatic
arrangements were seen. The perform orient was obviously to
near the slivkenside surface.
