Digital signature is very important in the application of modern electronic data processing systems. Authorization mechanism is used to delimit the capability of representatives of an organization. In order to provide various approaches for the authorization mechanism, two group-oriented signature scheme are proposed in this thesis. The first proposed signature scheme weights the authority of a signatory according to the position or capability in an organization. Combining all the authority of the members, a weight for group-oriented signature is derived to represent their group. The other scheme has three kinds of authorizations. Their are high-authorized authorization mechanism, low-authorized authorization mechanism and threshold-authorized. The distinct are derived according to the predefined authorization strategy. The representative signature is generated by incorporating all signatures of members. The characteristics of the proposed scheme are multilateral. Two must significant advantages are easy implementation and high security. The proposed schemes are believed to be available for applications in computernetworks or interworks.
