The purpose of this research is to understand the influences of the implementation of skill test for students of Department of Electronics at vocational schools on teaching and probe into the differences of various background variables in each aspects of these influences. A questionnaire compiled by the researcher was used as a tool of this research. there were altogether 177 effective questionnaires recovered from the teachers and 2714 questionnaires recoverd from the students. After statistical analysis, the following conclusions are obtained: 1. The current situation of the implementation of skill test for Depatment of Electronics of vocational high school is that the curriculum of these schools are less related to the standards of the test. However, this activity has received affirmation and support from students, teachers and parents of students. 2. The implementation of skill test for students of Department of Electronics at Vocational high schools has produced more positive influences than negative ones. 3. The implementation of skill test for students of Deparment of Electronics at Vacational high schools is helpful to the teaching of practice course and it has contributed to the achievement of teaching goals of Department of Electronics. 4. Generally speaking, no matter students take the skill test or not, "the opportunity of ecucation" given to then by the administration and teachers of the schools are equal. 5. the influences of skill test for students at Department of Electronics of Vocational high schools on "contents of courses" and the differences of these influences on courses of Category A and Category B in public and private schools are worthy of attention.
