The purpose of this study was to understand the opinions and related factors of graduates of school of Chinese Medicine toward Chinese medicine education, license examination and practice. Important findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1.Factors associated with the type of practice (Chinese or Western) chosen by Chinese Medicine department graduates were self-peceived satisfaction toward college curriculums, teaching methods, qualifications of teachers, and training courses. Difference of license register and social value played important roles on the choice of practice. Income was another important reason, but its association was less significant than the former. 2.The opinions toward Chinese medicine education, license examination and practice, the younger graduates felt the improvements more important. Allowing two licenses register, strengthening qualifications of teachers, prohibiting the unlicense healer, canceling the special license examination of Chinese medicine doctor, and establishing more schools and graduate institutes of Chinese medicine were considered that have to be improved immedialaly. 3.In terms of the number of years of residenship that can be waived to encourage Chinese Medicine graduates who practice western medicine to return to Chinese medicine, those who are practicing western medicine wish to waive more years than those who are practicing chinese medicine .
