This thesis provides a theoretic exploration on the interactive nature between the evolution of organization strategy and the ecological change of an industry. Based on various streams of research literature, this study contructs a conceptual framework which attempts to encompass three research issues, they are strategy formularion, industry structure change and strategic renewal. Specifically, this reaearch tries provide a platform for analyzing how a strategy is internally evolved within the organization context of dominant logic, routines and strategic intents, how the implementation of an organization''s strategy in a process of competing for a survival niche will disturb the ecology of an industry, which results in industry structure change of different degree. Based on the framework, this study proposes three perturbing patterns of industry structure, they are ''order structure'' in equilibrium, ''chaos phenomena'' in disorder and ''complexity'' in evolution, and establishes the evolution trajectory, i.e. ''order -complexity- chaos'', and selection path, i.e. ''chaos-complexity- order'', of industry structure. Finally, to justify the usefulness of this framework, we select firm''s internationalization as an issue for discussion. we argue that an organization''s internationalization actions have potential impacts on the industry structure and institutional environment of both home country and host country. Detailed propositions along this line of inquiry are furnished and suggestionss for future studies are also provide.
