本研究以室內試驗及SEEP程式探討牡丹及南化兩地開挖軟岩填築於大壩壩
心之可行性。所使用之級配曲線分別為牡丹(1),牡丹(2),牡丹 3)
及南化(4)。室內試驗項目有健性,大型夯實,破碎率,針孔擴散,大
型三軸透水試驗及微觀觀察,藉以探討開挖軟岩在透水及耐沖蝕等方面的
特性。結果顯示兩地開挖軟岩在O.M.C.時,僅牡丹(3)在低圍壓( 1kg/
cm2)作用時未能符合壩心材料要求之低滲透係數(1×10-6cm/sec)。在
耐沖蝕特性方面,試驗結果證明兩地開挖軟岩皆非擴散性土壤(牡丹開挖
軟岩分類為ND1,南化開挖軟岩分類為ND2),且均為中至高等耐久性材料
(牡丹開挖軟岩為高等耐久性材料(Id2=95.9),南化開挖軟岩為中等
耐久性材料(Id2=85.9)),均具有抵抗管湧(非擴散性土壤)及抵抗
淘蝕(中至高等耐久性材料)的耐沖蝕特性。以材料的基本特性而言,兩
地開挖軟岩作為壩心材料應無問題,再加以SEEP程式模擬開挖軟岩實際填
築壩心蓄水後之情形時,發現其滲流量及孔隙水壓皆與填築原有壩心料之
情形相近,更證明在本研究範圍內將兩地開挖軟岩填築於壩心應屬可行的


This research was conducted upon the laboratory testing and the
feasibility of using excavated soft rock as the construction of
the dam core of both Mu-tan and Nanhua earth dam through SEEP
pr- ogram. Material gradation was used four gradation line (Mu-
tan- (1), Mu-tan (2) , Mu-tan (3) and Nanhua(4)). Experiment
includes Soundness of Aggregate, Large Proctor Compction , Pin
Hole Test, Large Triaxial Permeability Test and Micro-
observing. Results sh- ow that characteristics of the
permeability and the ability agai- nst erosion based on
different excavated soft rocks. The only ca- se Mu-tan (3) was
not considerred as reaching the required vaule of 10-6cm/sec
for dam core material while occuring at low circle pressure of
1kg/cm2 based upon the characteristics of permeabili- ty. On
the phase of ability against eroding, results indicate th- at
the excavated soft rock of both of Mu-tan and Nanhua earth dam
are not diffusive soil (Mu-tan excavated soft rock classified
as ND1, Nanhua excavated soft rock classified as ND2), but
between medium and high persistence material (Mu-tan excavated
soft rock Id2=95.9, Nanhua excavated soft rock Id2=85.9),
piping resistance (diffusive soil) and erode-out resistance
(medium to high persis- tence). As a result of analysis, the
excavated soft rocks from both of Mu-tan and Nanhua earth dam
are acceptable material as dam core construction of an earth
dam. It is futher approved that the relation of the amount of
seepage and pore water-pressure af- ter filling the dam core
resembles to the one before filling the dam core by SEEP
program in simulating situation of excavated so- ft rocks
filled in dam core after water storage. Therefore, exc- avated
soft rocks from Mu-tan and Nanhua earth dam can be used as
filled-material over dam core.
