六朝詩運之開展,理當如劉勰《文心雕龍‧明詩篇》通論晉宋詩風所
云,由「玄言」、「遊仙」、「山水」,及梁陳的「宮體」等諸種詩類,
朗現其風貌。然此流變發展之觀察,但以文學的內在基源立論,若能顧及
文學的外緣因素,則六朝詩運之開展必當較劉勰所論更加縱錯複雜。行旅
詩的研究,正是對文學內在和外緣兩層面的思考。六朝文人以「仕宦經歷
」為主題所抒詠的詩篇,早在《文選》之編撰即劃歸為「行旅」一類,這
是研究六朝詩歌不容忽視的事實,在《文選》的類分基礎上,本文即分別
以「情志內容」與「美感風格」對六朝行旅詩作全面的探究,並為行旅詩
在六朝詩運的開展中尋其合宜的定位。 行旅詩的情志內容不外是文士
窮通出處的吟詠,但如是的作品,一方面固為文士面對此一困頓的抒吐,
一方面也是詩人自我的慰藉。因此,其如實的記錄詩人的仕宦歷程,也真
切的反映詩人生命的憂思遠志。由此,行旅詩僅管緣於詩人之行旅往來於
山川水脈間,而大量地以山水為素材,但山水的意象和意境所凝塑出的美
感風格,卻是與詩人的情志共馳地透顯著人文精神與文化內涵。此一透顯
,在行旅詩中常是以一種「生命歷程」的完成來揭示其自己的,「歷程」
成為行旅詩所獨有的美學特質。 綜合行旅詩情志內容與美感風格的探
究,更可發現行旅詩中實潛伏著六朝詠懷精神與形似之言兩股源力。這兩
股源力如其為六朝詩歌發展的導向,影響行旅詩的寫作。事實上,甚可說
行旅詩實是這兩股源力的體用,這兩股源力在作品中交織互攝為行旅詩以
形似構體、詠懷傳神的特殊風貌。行旅詩在六朝詩運開展上的位階,也於
茲可定。
According to Lyou-sye''s general discussion about the style
of thepoetry of Jin, Sung dynasties in Ming-shr chapter
of Wen-syindyau-lung, the expansion and development of
the poetry of Sixdynasties should be clearly expressed by
means of many different kindsof poetry such as "Sywan-yan","
You-syan", "Shan-shwei" and "Gung-ti"of Lyang and Chen
dynasties. However his observation of thetrasformation
and development is still based on the interior factorsof the
literature. If we take the exterior factors of the
literatureinto account, the expansion and development of the
poetry of Sixdynasties will be more intricate and
complicated than Lyou-sye''stheory. The study of Sying-lyu
poetry is the reflection on both theinterior and exterior
factors of literature. The fact should not beignored that the
intellects of Six dynasties employed their "officialexperience"
as the subjects of their poetry had put into the categoryof
"Sying-lyu" as early as when Wen Sywan was editing. On the basis
ofthe categories of Wen Sywan, the purpose of the thesis
is tothoroughly explore the "emotional and aspiring context"
and "aestheticstyle" of Sying-lyu poetry of Six dynasties,
and to search for asuitable position for Sying-lyu
poetry in the expansion anddevelopment of the poetry of Six
dynasties. On the other hand,this is also self-
consolation to the poet.Therefore, it exactly records the
official experience of the poet, andit also reflects the sorrow
and aspiration of the poet toward hislife. Thus,in spite of
Sying-lyu poetry stems from that the poetstravel between the
beautiful scenery and take mountains and rivers asthe materials
of their poems, the aesthetic style,which is constructedby the
images and ideals of the landscape,is in consonance with
theemotions and aspirations of the poe ts to reveal the
humanity andintrinsic culture. In Sying-lyu poetry,this
kind of revelation isoften exhibited itself by virtue of
"life experience ","Experience"becomes the exclusively
aesthetic characteristics of Sying-lyu poetry. Blending of
the exploration of emotional and aspiring context andaesthetic
style,even more we can find that there are two forces
hiddenYung-hwai spirit and Sying-sz speech. The two forces not
only are theguidances of the development of the poetry of Six
dynasties, but alsoaffect the writings of Sying-lyu poetry. In
fact,we can even say thatSying-lyu poetry is the essences and
applications of the two forces.The two forces intertwine in
the work to present the distinguishedfeatures of Sying-lyu
poetr y, using Sying-sz to construct its formand Yung-hwai to
convey its spirit. The position of Sying-lyu poetryin the
expansion and development of the poetry of Six dynasties can
bedefined.
