 在近代的量子理論中,弦理論是廣被注視的一個理論,因它有可能統 合四種力---重力,電磁力,強作用力和弱作用力.而於弦理論中,重力的作 用除了已知的重力子交互作用之外,還加入了一純量---dilaton的交互作 用. 在本文中,我們的目的就是想了解有關dilaton的基本性質,如 dilaton與電磁場交互作用的dilaton荷 "b",dilaton與純量交互作用常 數"a",和dilaton本身的質量"M".我們將於牛頓力場與光彎曲這兩個主題 夾探交換dilaton與交換重力子的效應差異從而決定dila-ton的基本性質. 我們也介紹了two spinors的計算方法,在含有極化向量或含費米子的條件 下,two spinors能克服計算的繁瑣. 我們結果顯示了兩個值得進一步 研究的現象:第一,在光彎曲實驗中,若光子與純量場交換dilaton,則光子 的polarization將會發生變化.第二,dilaton的表現行為與其所處的環境 有關;在光彎曲主題(光子場與純量場),其位勢為有限的範圍,而於牛頓 位能中(純量場與純量場)卻為無窮遠.
 In recent development of quantum theory, String theory is in a very importantposition. Because it is the only theory which might be able to unify the fourkinds of force, i.e electromagnetic force, strong force, weak force and gravity. All versions of string theory predict the existence of a scalar partner of the tensorial Einstein graviton : the dilaton. In the thesis, we desire to gain insight the basic features of dilaton, suchas the dilaton charge "a" (characte rizing its interaction with the electromag-netic field ), the parameter "b" (characterizing its interaction with the sca-lar field ), and the mass of dilaton "M". We also introduce the calculationmethod---two spinors. When there exist fermions or polarized vectors, the twospinors method will simplify our calculation. There are two of our results which are worth study more. First, in the sub-jects "light bending", if the photon field and the scalar field exchange dil-aton, the polarization of photon will ch ange. Secondly, the behavior of dila-ton depends on the situation. The range of potential of dilaton is finite inthe case of "light bending" ( exchange dilaton between photon field and scalarfield ), but infinite in the case of "Newtonian potential" (exchange dilaton between two scalar fields).
