Theme of this thesis lies in the relationship between Comintern and Chinese Communist Party, also discusses following questions in accordance with the formation and development of Chinese Soviet Movement: A. The establishment of Comintern in a way fulfilled the ideal of proletarian nationalism; however, due to the gap between idealism and reality, the spirit of nationalism that Comintern preached collapsed later on, why. B. From Comintern's view-point, how the struggle between Soviet leaders influenced its own policy, then determined the path of CCP's development. C. From CCP's view-point, why was its revolutionary strategy controlled by Comintern during the soviet movement. D. The resolution of the Sian Incident and its impact on Chinese Soviet Movement. Due to the broad spectrum of topics studied in, this thesis covers the relevant history in chronological order. There are six chapters in total, exclusive of preface and conclusion, as follow: Chapter 2: The introduction of the theory implementation of Soviet Orient Policy. This chapter demonstrates how Soviet Union assisted CCP's formation as well as the interaction among Stalin, Bolshevik party, Comintern and CCP. Chapter 3: Trace the origin of the Chinese Soviet Movement. Discusses the relevance and relationship among the insurrections, the Soviet Movement, the derision of Soviet thinking, and the official legal framework for CCP's Soviet organizations. Chapter 4: Investigates the development of Chinese Soviet Movement under Comintern's influence. Also interprets the interaction between Comintern and CCP. Chapter 5: Discusses the reasons why Chinese Soviet Movement terminated, and states the factors and processes behind CCP's change in policy.
