It brought right extremism in Germany into focus that a
series of acts ofviolence against foreigner happened soon after
the German reunification. Everybody worried about that if Nazism
would reappear. Althought right extremism in Germany absorbed
much nutrition from Nazism, while the extreme ideology was
forming, yet the former is always pressed in political
enviroment under theshadow of the latter. Today right extremism
in Germany means a dissatisfaction, which is caused by the many
problems in the society. This thesis has four chapters and can
be summarized as follows: 1)Study of the theoretical source and
formation of right extremism, especially Nazism. 2)Overview the
development of right extremism. 3)To find out the causes, which
made right extremism rise again after reunification in Germany.
4)Analysis on the probable tendency for the development of right
extremism in the future. This thesis concludes that right
extremism in Germany has become one alternative of the ways
toexpress the protest in the society owing to the special
political and historical backgoround. Therefore though it seems
that lately the development of right extremism in Germany looks
on the surface not so intensive and radical,the latent threat
against the German society still exists.
