Software testing is one of the methods which are
important andeffective to increase the software quality. The
testing and debuggingusually exceed 40% of the cost in software
development cycle. Hence,how to use proper testing
strategy and technique to reduce thesoftware cost is an
important item in software engineer. But we findalmost testing
strategies are validating software by the third partyin
testing step. These strategies usually make higher cost and
time,so we believe how to test a software by designer in
design step, isvery important. The design for testing strategy
reduce testing costand increase software quality are great
help. In this paper, weestablish a test axiom mechanism and
also collect some common testaxioms to provide designer,
coder and tester. We also use test axiommechanism combine with
software design for test strategy using fromdesign step to
testing step. The strategy can effectively reducesoftware
testing cost and development cycle time under a
fixedsoftware quality.
