There are many methods used for measuring the human heart rate, such as photoplethysmograph (PPG), electromagnetic, electrocardiogram (ECG), etc. Base on these methods, some products of heart rate measurement were designed and sold in the market. Most of the products, except the electrocardiogram method, are very easy to be interfered when they are used in a freely moving or dynamic state. That is why the electrocardiogram method was utilized in this research. We adopted the traditional ECG electrode with reusable conductive rubber stickers to measure the heart rate and used the Holter as the measuring standard to calibrate and compensate the system. When the user''s heart rate is varying largely, this system may send an alarm to notify the person himself, relative nurses, or doctors thru the speaker or the telephone line to obtain the best medical treatment in advance.
