Lin and Cheng (1995) have been proposed a model of linear
analysis for Mitsuyasu directional spreading function. The
model was more easy and fast calculate, but could not get
accurate results when S is larger. For improvingthis, the
purpose of this study is owing to develop a new model of
nonlinear analysis, we hope that the wave directional spectrum
could bedescribed more precisely.
The reslts of simulation data analysis shown the nonlinear mode
has nolinearmodel directional spreading by S, this problem
just for S< 30. This model improves linear model would be
under mistakes by valuing the main wave direction. In
the field data analysis, the relationship between S andf are
similar to results, but the results of linear model is under
values with them as well.
The results of simulation data analysis also shows that
Mitsuyasu directionalspreading function could respect in Gauss
model and Donelan model of single peak wave directioanl model.
So, this method could apply directly in engineerto analysis the
sngle peak wave directional spreading, but it is fit enough
for the double peak wave directional spreading.
