LI CHI:A Design Method Base on Yang-Zhai NormsbyChih-Jen

TaiwanABSTRACT Yang-Zhai Norms ,literally means "live house",is
a book about norms of house design base on geomancy principles.
The norms have been widely accepted not only in the past but
also today ;and not only by the layman,but also professional.
This study intends to develop a design methods that is in
congruence with the Yang-Zhai Norms,The method is heavily rely
upon Open Building Methodology,because according to Yang-Zhai
Norms,namely "LI-CHI",each house should have different room
layout due to house master*s birth year.The thesis consists of 3
parts.The first is about Yang-Zhai Norms,the second is the
design method which includes a series of analysis and
operations.The third part is a demonstration of applying the
