Game softwares play an important role in software industry. Internet has become a powerful weapon for media communication. Designing game software based on the internet environment will enable wide variety users to enjoy the game software. And it has become an important business in software sector. However, to develop a game software is time-consuming and high cost. How to reduce the cost and time has become an important issue for software developers. In this thesis, we, from the computer software designer's role, attempt to develop various software tools to help software designers to ease the game design task. In this thesis, we attempt to develop a playback system for user- authorable network games. Specifically, a script language and its translator is developed. Examples, such as card games software, are used to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed playback system under the network environment.
