This thesis presents a model of combination of control and information network by using World Wide Web (WWW) with Java programming technology. The connectivity between the control network and other higher-level enterprise information networks and systems brings to the businesses many advantages. Using WWW means a friendly user interface, and Java provides real time monitoring to them. A case study of prototype of the modelis set up. Through this running prototype, we demonstrate an open architecture of data gathering method. It can be used to improve decision making quality by monitoring real time raw data in the field such as clean-room, air-pollution.
