This paper aimed at present study used to investigate: the effect of various specimen treatment process and cyclic loading on the mechanical properties of steel cylinder. In this study, the experimental parameters include: various cutting methods for preparation of specimen, current used of plasma arc cutting, flatted processes of specimen, weld-removed level and cyclic loading. The experimental results show that mechanical properties obtained from plasma arc cutting process is similar to use the machining cutting. but, the oxyacetylene cutting will obtain higher mechanical strengths and smaller elongation than the uses machining cutting. The yield strength of specimen decreases with the increase of the current of the plasma cutting. The mechanical strengths of specimen increases while the harmed flatting or the repeated bending were used. The welded-removed level is not significant influence on the mechanical properties. The mechanical strengths of the sample A decreases with the increase of the cyclic loading. Then, the behavior of cyclic is belong to the cyclic softening. The mechanical strength of sample B increases with the increase of the cyclic loading. And the behavior of cyclic is belong to the cyclic hardening.
