在臺灣東部地區,依照不同地理位置,地形,地層,選取月眉,長濱,石雨
傘,池上四個含火 成岩系的安山岩,安山岩質集塊岩,凝灰岩質火成岩,及
基性火成岩等母質風化而來的黑色土,探討其土壤與粘土礦物性質,土壤分
類之外,並嘗試尋求黑色土之成因,本研究區土壤,主要受地行,母質,與化
育時間因子的影響,而表現出程度不一的剖面形態特徵,其共同點為,在濕
時泥濘,乾時土壤有裂隙產生,並在長濱樣體,有斷面擦痕的存在,土壤樣體
粘粒含量多大於200g/kg,質地介於壤質與粘土之間;土壤反應在
5.8-7.5之間,屬中酸至微鹼性,表層有機碳含量為 39-66g/kg, CEC值除池
上樣體外,皆在 30cmol/kg soil以上,鹽基飽和度均大於 70%, 游離鐵,
鋁,錳的含量不高. 經由 X-射線繞射及陽離子交換法之半定量發現,粘
土礦物在月眉,長濱,石雨傘,池上樣體中皆以蒙特石族礦物為主,經由
Greene-Kelly test 顯示其為四面體取代之多鋁蒙特石或多鐵 蒙特石,另
有含量不一之高嶺石,伊來石,綠泥石,長石,石英,及高嶺石-蒙特石之混層
礦物,而在 X-射線繞射分析圖中,其在鉀飽和,加熱 550 C兩小時處理,在
1.0 nm處仍成寬廣之繞射峰的情形顯示,其可能有羥基間層物質的產生,而
經由不同時間的熱檸檬酸鈉抽出後,在以鎂飽和,甘油蒸燻處理,則有膨脹
的情形產生,而在鉀飽和,室溫乾燥處理石,其晶面基距較能收縮至1.0 nm
的結果來看,其似屬高電荷之蒙特石,由於層間物質的影響,十二烷基氨離
子插入之結果顯示,蒙特石的膨脹性並不大,土壤 pH值,有機物含量,及排
水情況應為影響夾層作用之主. 黑色土之主要成因,為在淋洗不完全的
環境下, Mg, Ca的聚積,有利於 2:1形膨脹性粘土礦物 之生成,其與土壤
表層有機質結合,形成粘-有機質之複合體,使得土壤顏色變暗,而在土壤分
類上,除長濱樣體似可分類為膨轉土外,其餘屬於黑沃土
Four pedons of the Yue-mei, Chang-pin, Shu-yi-san and Chi-
shang were selected from eastern Taiwan which derived
amdeside,agglomerate,tuff and igenous rocks. These soils were
collected from different geography, geomorphology and
stratigraphy to be studied their soil properties,clay
mineralogy, classification and formation. The morphology and
soil properties in the study area are significantly affected by
the geomorphology
parent materials and pedogenesis process. Clay contents in most
soils arehigher than 200g/kg and the texture range from loam to
clay. Soil pH rangein 5.8-7.5, organic carbon content of all
surface layers range in 39-66g/kgand cation exchange capacity of
most soils are over 30cmol/kg soil exceptChi-shang pedon. Base
saturation of all pedons are higher than 70%, and all small
amounts of free iron, aluminum, manganese oxide contents.
Semiquantitative of clay compositions by X-ray diffraction and
cationexchange methods indicate that smectite is dominant
mineral in the Yue-mei,Chang-pin, Shu-yi-san, Chi-shang pedons.
The Greene-Kelly tests indicate thatsmectite is tetrahedral
subsitituted beidellite or nontronite. In most pedonsthe clay
mineralogical compositions also include kaolinite, chlorite,
illite, and kaolinite-smectite mix-layered clays. X-ray
diffractograms of K-saturatedclays when heated at 550C for two
hours, it remained board intensity at 1.0 nm XRD peaks. Thus,
the results indicate that the hydroxyl-interlayetr
materialcompounds presented in the interlayer of 2:1 type clays.
The clay samplestreaed with various period of hot sodium citrate
solutions(0.3M, pH=7.3), it expanded with glycerol solvation and
collapsed to 1.0 nm with potassiumsaturation at 25C. Thus,it is
a hihg-charge smectite. Clays treated withdodecylamine and
showed a low d-spacing which may be influenced by
interlayermaterials, Soil pH, organic matter contents and
dranige conditions are the major factors influence these
interlayer actions. Under limited leaching condition of
formation of black soils, calcium andmagnesium ion can be
accumulated and 2:1 type expandable clay minerals developedin
this soil envoronment. The expandable clays associated with
organic matterto form organic-clay complexes and preasented a
darken soil color. The Chang-pin pedon can be classified as
Vertisol, and the other pedons classifiedas Mollisols.
