本研究藉由植群覆蓋減少率(CR)、植相變異度(FD)及指標植物-玉山箭竹
之植株高度(HR)等三項衝擊介量,輔以土壤硬度增加率(SHI)I),調查分
析塔塔加地區三條步道之植群及土壤衝擊效應,且針對其步道之衝擊型態
,探討其形成之原因並選定適用塔塔加地區步道之監測指標,研究結果顯
示:1. 研究範圍內三條步道沿線之植群及土壤衝擊影響範圍以塔塔加步
道前段最為嚴重,集中在步道兩側3公尺,而塔塔加步道後段、麟趾山步
道及玉山步道僅達步道舖面邊緣或外側2公尺的範圍內。2. 塔塔加地區三
條步道的植群及土壤衝擊現象主要有沖蝕、分生步道、面狀表土裸露、積
水等,其最初形成之肇因主要是遊客踐踏或施工的破壞,而其它環境因
子(如土壤﹑地形等)或規劃設計因子,則會減緩或加速其植群及土壤衝擊
惡化的速率。3. 由前述三項植群衝擊介量所合成之「植群衝擊指數」(
IVI)可供為評估與監測台灣高山地區遊憩衝擊程度之指標。或規劃設計因
子,則會減緩或加速其植群及土壤衝擊惡化的速率。而為防治及改善該區
步道之衝擊情形,透過以上之調查分析結果,本研究亦針對該區既有步道
之衝擊型態以及新設步道提出衝擊防治及改善策略。
This study was conducted at Tataka, a long-term research site of
alpine ecosystem located in central Taiwan, to investigate the
patterns, its influenced factos, effect of ecological impacts
caused by human disturbance and designate the monitoring
indicators. In addition to cover reduction (CR), floristic
dissimilarity (FD), height reduction (HR) of the indicator plant
(Yushania niitakayamensis) which represent the vegetational
change, the increase of soil hardness (SHI) was added as an
indicator for soil imThe results of field data analysis revealed
the following conclusions :1.The fore part of the Tataka trail
suffered the most serious impacts, its impacts are concertrated
within the trail''s edges 3m. on both sides, and other trails''
edges within 1m. on both sides are impact zones, and impacts
within 1m. to 2m. are suppose to decrease.2.The impact patterns
in three trails at Tataka area including soil erosion, multiple
tread, surface soil denudation, sump, and they were caused by
visitors'' trampling and improper conduct of trail, but
environment factors or management factors will decelerate or
accelerare the rate of the impacts'' deterioration.3.The "Index
of Vegetational Impact" (IVI), acquired through combining those
three parameters above, was proposed by the author as a
synthetic indicator for monitoring the extent of recreational
impacts on alpine regions in Taiwan. By the results of field
data analysis, this study also offered the management some
strategies to minimise the existence trails'' impacts and prevent
the impacts that will be happened in new trails.Key words:trail
