Process Capability Analysis (PCA) is a powerful tool to study the ability of a process to manufacture product that meets specifications. Process Capability Ratio (PCR) measures the uniformity of the process.Traditionally, PCR measures only one product's specification (processparameter) at a time. Unfortunately, this single ratio can not measurethe actual capability of the process in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) environment because of the complexity and highly-interrelate of the process. This research is to study the use of PCA technique in CIMenvironment and to develop an integrated process capability analysis approach. The integrated process capability model estimates multiple process capabilities and can provide the continual improvement of the process in CIM environment.
