本實驗以高劑量臭氧(240ppb, 120ppb, 60ppb)短期薰氣處理七天後依其
病徵量大小篩選出四種品種分別為耐受型:台北306,台農69;敏感型:新
竹24,台農38. 在後續實驗中依病徵大小判斷其對臭氧敏感順位,發現僅60
ppb處理組可以得到上述結果, 即敏感型:新竹24耐受型:台北306.其餘二
者則屬中間型.120ppb處理組在薰氣16天後因病徵達穩定狀態分不出品種
間之差異.其它生理,生化反應與病徵出現有關者,僅60ppb處理組其早期
MDA含量及蛋白質含量與植物出現病徵略有關係,受薰氣濃度不同而有顯著
差異之生理,生化反應為MDA含量,氣孔導度,螢光參數(qN, ETR,Ft, Fm').
受薰氣天數不同而有顯著差異之生理,生化反應為GSH含量,60ppb處理組
MDA含量,protein含量,所有螢光參數值(qN,qP, ETR, Yield, Ft, Fm').
臭氧對水稻光合作用方面之影響包括(1)氣孔導度變小.(2)Ft, Fm'變小,
qN 變大表示光合作用中參與捕捉光子之色素系統受到破壞了.對氧氣生成
沒有顯著性影響.臭氧對水稻抗氧化系統方面之影響包括(1)抗氧化酵素活
性或含量提高.超氧歧化酵素活性在臭氧處理組中活性提升.抗壞血酸過氧
化酵素在台北306及新竹24二種品種中活性可以提升.催化酵素與過氧化酵
素在60ppb臭氧處理組中活性提升.(2)抗氧化物穀胱甘含量並沒有提升,但
氧化態穀胱甘比例增加,表示胱甘可提供保護能力.另一類抗氧化物類胡蘿
蔔素含量不受影響,尤其是葉黃素(xanthophyll),表示水 稻植株並未遭受
光抑制.

Within this experiment I treat 149 varieties of rice (Oryza
sativa L.) with high concentrations of ozone (240, 120, 60 ppb)
for 7 days. Then I screen 4 varieties as my next experiment
materials. They are screened by their ozone symptoms appeared on
the rice leaves. Two of yhe 4 varieties, Taipei No. 306 and
Tainoun No. 69, are more tolerant to ozone. the others, Shingtsu
No. 24and Tainoun No. 38, are more sensitive to ozone. In the
ongoing experiment results rice which are fumigated with 60ppb
ozone could obey such trends:Tainoun No. 69 is the most tolerant
than others, Shingtsu No. 24 is the mostsensitive one, the
others are the intermediate types. Rice fumigated with 120ppb
ozone appear large and stable flecks on their leaves, they can't
be distinguished by the symptoms. In the experiment only the
early contents ofMDA and protein of 60ppb ozone fumigated rice
are related to the symptoms.MDA content, stomatal conductance,
parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence (qN, ETR, Ft, Fm') are
significantly influenced by ozone concentrations.GSH content,
MDA content of rice fumigated with 60ppb ozone, protein content,
parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence are influenced by
fumigation days.Ozone impacts on photosynthesis of rice are
described as follow. (a)Smaller stomatal conductance. (b)
Smaller Ft, Fm' and bigger qN indicate antennae photosystems are
influenced. (c) No significant influence on oxygenproduction.
Ozone impacts on antioxidant system are described as follow. (a)
Promotion of antioxidative enzymes activities. Superoxide
dismutase activity is elevated in all treatment. Ascorbate
peroxidase activity is elevated only in Taipei No. 306 and
Shingtsu No.24. Catalase and peroxidase activities are only
elevated on rice fumigated with 60ppb ozone. (b)Contents of
glutathioneare not elevated, while they could reduce oxidants
providing protection. Other antioxidants, carotenoids, which are
not influenced indicating rice suffering no photoinhibition.
