The goals of this thesis are to analyze and investigate physical characteristics of resonant tunneling devices and calculate transmission probability, tunneling time and phase shift of resonant tunneling structures by designed program. We compared our calculating results with experimental results others had proposed, then analyze how it matches to physical characteristics. We started at program design, then discuss relation between transmission probability, tunneling time and structure parameters. In order Moreover, we analyzed the most important characteristic of resonant tunneling structures: negative differential resistance, and discuss difference between proposed reports. Finally, calculate multi-quantum structures by program and discuss if it could be an Energy Band-Pass Filter. We believe, this program will be helpful for our other research.
