The purpose of this research is discover the problems of form
learning for early children , based on understanding the
learning barriers which early children learning form image have
to face and the learning transmission which caused by the form
cognition and formative . Hopefully , this research is able to
be proposed as a reference for those who on early children''s
educational design. Based on Development theory , Cognition
Development theory , Information-Processing , and Form Cognition
, This research is working on the learning mode and developing
situations'' empirical study in visual-thinking way of young
children . Based on the cognitive test of Colarysso and Hammil
to arrange the form test , and Mckim''s visual thinking mode , to
explain the influence of form cognition to form activities .
Form test concludes plane form persent , cube form present , and
plane form represent .The 28 rThe main conclusions are :(1) It''s
apparently relative between form-cognition and form ability for
5 or 6 year-old child . The visual thinking ability and visual
expression influences form expression ability . In other words ,
the better the form-cognition ability, the better the form
ability .(2) There''s no apparent difference between form-
cognition and form ability for the factor of gender .(3) 5 to 6
year-old children has clear form-cognition ability without
interruption , But it''s difficult for them to analyze the
contains .(4) Form-cognition for those children is based on 2-D
thinking although appeared by 3-D building blocks .
