The experiment accomplished with WAO catalyzed by different catalysts is to research the efficiency and parameters of destroying ferrocyanide. The concentration of ferrocyanide is prepared 100ppm. The parameters are following as: pressure is 5MPa and 8MPa, temperature is 180℃, 200℃, 220℃, and 240℃. Ca talysts are Copper Sulfate, Manganese Dioxide, Zinc Oxide. The parameters cont rolled on this experiment are pressure, temperature, catalysts, effluent rate, and pH. The analytical procedures are done with CN-, NH3-N, COD, NO3-, NO2-. As a result, temperature is the dominate factor to removal CN- which the best removal efficiency getting up to 99% occurs at pressure 5MPa with temperature 240℃ in 100minutes. The CN- removal efficiency of 91% also achieved in the same time and operating pressure but different temperature at 180℃. Other operating parameters are mot effective for the CN- removal . In this field of COD removal, WAO only achieved 38% at pressure 5MPa with temperature 240℃. With the addition of Copper Sulfate, Manganese Oxide, Zinc Oxide in WAO, the COD removal each rises to 75%, 61%, 50%. In comparison with these cataslysts, the Copper Sulfate is the best, Manganese Dioxide is better, Zinc Oxide is common. When pressure rises to 8MPa, the COD removal achieved 89%. For NH3-N, WAO generates most NH3-N, but catalyzed by these three catalysts can decline NH3-N efficiently. Finally, the experiment abjust the desired pH to prove the impact on CN-, NH3-N, and COD. As a result, pH is not a conspicuous parameter for above terms.
