In this paper, the reinforced soil was concerned as an equivalent homogenizing medium. The constitutive model was consisted of two major mechanisms including the composite concept and anisotropic elastic mechanic. Three types of homogenizing model of reinforced soil, axisymmetric model, plane strain model, and orthotropic model, were derived for the uses of reinforced soil in different conditions. In order to perform the nonlinear or the dynamic analysis, the hyperbolic model and Masing law were also introd The static and dynamic analyses were performed. From the static analysis shown, the behavior of reinforced soil was high correlatively to "reinforcing ratio." If the reinforced ratio of MSB wall large than 1.5 then reinforced earth performs as a rigid wall, otherwise, the wall performs as flexible wall. In addition, the dynamic behaviors of MSB wall were also studied. The influence factors such as reinforced ratio, soil stiffness, loading frequency, and wall base condition were discussed.
