  本文探討聚醋酸乙烯型及以氯乙烯改質之聚醋酸乙烯型抗收縮劑(LPA)的合成以及探討不同化學結構與分子量之LPA 對苯乙烯(ST)/不飽合聚酯樹脂(UP)/抗收縮劑(LPA)三成份系在室溫未反應前之相深性的影響。添加Poly(vinyl acetate)及Poly (vinyl chloride-co-vinyl acetate)之低收縮不飽和聚酯樹脂於110℃ 下之聚合固化反應動力及聚合固化後樣品破壞面之微觀結構,亦分別使用微分掃瞄熱分析儀(DSC)及掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)研究之。此外,由聚合固化後樣品之微觀結構所顯示之ST/UP/LPA三成份系在聚合固化過程中之相分離特性,吾人亦將由基團共獻法所計算出之UP與LPA 間其單位體積的極性差異解釋之。


  Synthesis of poly(vinyl acetate) and poly (vinyl chloride-co-vinyl acetate) low profile additives(LPA), and effects of chemical structure and molecular weight of the LPA on the miscibility of styrene (ST)/unsaturated polyester (UP) resin/LPA ternary systems at room temperature prior to reaction were investigated. The reaction kinetics during the cure at 110℃ and the cured sample morphology for the low-shrink unstaurated polyester resins were also studied by using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) respectively. The phase separation characteristics of ST/UP/LPA systems during the cure, as revealed by the cured sample morphology, could be generaly accounted for by the calculated polarity difference per unit volume between UP adn LPA on the basis of group contribution methods.
