A glucose biosensor with exceptional linearity was fabricated by mixing withglucose oxidase and carbon ink. The ruthenium oxides were prepared with glucoseoxidase was modefied with Nafion membrane onto the ink surface. Subsequently, the glucose can be measured at +0.2 V(vs. Ag/AgCl), in 0.05 M pH 7.4 phosphatebuffer solution, 400 rpm, 25 C. The linearly of the response at best is up to 50 mM (with correlation coefficient 0.99992). The sensitivity of the electrodeis 366 nA/mM.cm2. The estimated detection limit (S/N=3) is 4.36x10-4 M. The response time t10%-90% is 66 seconds. The standard deviation of twenties repetivedetection of 5 mM glucose is 1.894%. There is no significant interference observedfrom the addition of 0.1 mM ascorbic acid, 0.4 mM uric acid, 0.2 mM cystine, glutamicacid, histidine, tyrosine, arabinose, fucose, galatose, lactose, mannose, raffinose, stachyose, xylose and 10 mM alcohol at presence or unpresence of 5.5 mM glucose.
