中文摘要 本研究主要目的在探討不同年齡之間，父母對子女教養方式之比較。經由問卷方式收集資料，之後進行分析整理程序，期望能由子女的角度，了解到父母所呈現的教養態度之內涵。研究以團體施測進行，所得樣本數，大學組631 人、國中組1981人，共有2612名受訪者。 EMBU父母教養問卷，共四個分量表，分別代表四種父母教養的類型，依次為：拒絕型(Rejection)、 情感溫暖型(Emotional warmth)、控制型(Control attempt)、 偏愛型(Favor)。 這是EMBU問卷翻譯成中文後，第一次在台灣使用。針對問卷進行工具性驗證後顯示，內在一致性信度0.88-0.89、因素分析後亦可以抽出同樣四個父母教養類型。 研究假設受訪者個人變項、受訪者父母變項、環境變項與父母教養方式間有關係、並針對四個父母教養類型進行變異數分析（MANOVA）。研究主要結果：1.），受訪者年齡不同，知覺到不同的父母教養方式、國中組對父母之教養比較敏感；大學組，對父母教養評價較國中組高。2.）父母年齡與教養行為成負相關；父母教育程度越高、子女越能感受其教養。3.）只跟父親住的子女對母親評價較低、只跟母親住的子女對父親評價較低。4.）父母的教養嚴厲性與一致性，是父母教養方式非常重要的影響因子；拒絕型教養普遍見於國中生、大學生知覺較明顯的情感溫暖；控制型不一定，偏愛型的父母教養方式，在本研究中不明顯。 總括來說，國中組或男性受訪者對父母的教養有較明顯的知覺，大學組或女性受訪者對父母教養則有較高的評價；父母在教養方式的使用上是採取搭配的策略來使用拒絕型與情感溫暖型的教養；母親的教養行為則受到子女較高的評價。有關研究的詳細結果，將於文中進一步討論。

AbstractThe major propose of this study was to explore and compare the parenting practice and behaviors between college and junior high school students. At first collected data with group testing and than analyzed, we tried to understand the patterns of parenting practices. 631 college students and 1981 junior high school students formed the sample. The EMBU, an inventory of parental practice, composed four parenting styles:"#34,"warmth""attempt"#34Favor" We translated and first time used this traditional Chinese version of EMBU in TAIWAN, we got the internal consistency value between 0.88-0.89 of the scale and four factors from factor analysis. This research hypothesized the personal variables, the parent variables and environment variables are related with parenting practices, we performed MANOVA statistics. The major findings include: 1). Different age of subjects can reflect different parenting patterns, the junior high school students is easily reflect parenting and college students evaluated their parent with higher score. 2). Parents’ age was negative correlation with parenting score, the children of higher educational background parents reflected more parenting.3.) The subject only live with single parent evaluated the absent parent with lower scores.4. The consistence and severe of parenting is the very important factors. The junior high school students reported “Rejection” and the college students reported “Emotional normally, “Control attempt” needs some condition and “Favor” is not significant.In general, the junior high school students or male recognized the parenting better, the college students or female evaluated the parenting with higher score. Father and mother cooperated to use “Rejection” and “Emotional warmth”, Mothers’ parenting were evaluated better. The detail finding and how the characteristics of parents, students and environment factors influence parenting practice will be exam and discuss in this research.
