「存貨」在一般企業組織中幾乎是不可避免的在傳統的存貨控制模式中,通常假設物項的儲存期限為無限,存貨的減少僅單純是銷售需求的原因,但現實生活中有許的物品並無法符合傳統模式的假設。因為實際上貨物大都具有損耗特性,考慮物品的損耗特性是必要的。
而各種產業中,供應者會因為某些原因在某段期間內降低價格刺激銷售,而購買者(零售商)通常會以較低的購買成本買進一特別的數量囤積起來,以備因應未來的需求,雖然由於較低的單位價格造成每單位的購入成本降低,但總持有成本將因為持有數量增加而大增,故在此一特別期間內應如何決定最佳特別訂購量是一個值得研究的課題。
因此本研究所探討的是在再訂購點暨最大庫存水準系統(s,S)下,需求率隨存貨水準變動下加以考慮物品的損耗特性並允許部份缺貨(partial backlogged),去求得系統的最佳訂購量與訂購週期;並且在前述所建立的模式下,探討損耗性商品於價格面臨波動時較佳的採購模式。
模型建立之後在各參數對決策變數的敏感度分析中發現,參數在相同的變動率下,對於初始訂購量與平均利潤的影響較為顯著的應屬於模型中的形度參數(shape parameter)和規模參數(scale parameter)、單位成本、單位持有成本及單位銷售價格,而其中形度參數的影響是當中最大的。
在特殊折扣期間的特別訂購政策方面,損耗率較大時,折扣率對特別訂購量的影響會比損耗率小時更大,但是在平均淨利方面則是剛好相反,損耗率愈小時折扣率愈大可以創造愈多的利潤。故在特別折扣期間採取特別訂購量政策時,物品的損耗率是一個重要的考慮因素。
