本論文主要探討多孔質中結合線熱源熱傳(即壁煙流)與等質通量壁質傳的垂直板混合對流系統。利用溫度與濃度邊界層之量階分析的結果,找出在純粹自然對流時的熱、質傳浮力比參數r,以及涵蓋自然對流及強制對流的混合對流參數ξ,然後合適的轉換變數,將系統的統制方程式轉換成無因次統制方程組。然後應用數值方法(BOX法[];具無條件穩定及高效率的數值方法),求出包含純粹質傳控制轉換到純粹熱傳控制之完整浮力比範圍 ,以及由強制對流發展至自然對流的整個混合對流區域 之精確的數值結果。路易士數選取的範圍包括低路易士數(0.3至3.0)與高路易士數(20至200)兩種系統[]。前者適用於空氣中的微量氣體與一些常見的碳氫化合物;後者適用於稀薄的水溶液。最後,將所求得的數值解,經由轉換後,可得到系統中速度、溫度、濃度的分佈情形。由圖示的結果可發現,路易士數對質傳的影響比熱傳大。且高路易士數的系統對質傳速率的影響比低路易士數的系統更顯著。
