中文摘要

由於血清型的不同,進口的雞傳染性支氣管炎疫苗無法完全保護雞隻不受臺灣毒株的感染,故本實驗以臺灣分
株製成之死毒疫苗,並選用毒力較弱之臺灣分離株免疫雞隻,行交叉保護測定。結果顯示死毒疫苗效果不佳,
無法保護同株病毒的感染。以血清型I及II型弱毒株於1日及2週齡免疫雞隻二次,4週齡再以2種型別強毒株及1
種型別之中間毒毒株攻擊,結果顯示當免疫劑量在103 EID50 (50%embryo infectious doses) /0.1ml時,不論同型
與異型病毒皆無法保護強毒之攻擊,當免疫劑量達105 EID50 /0.1ml時,弱毒株雖無法保護異型強毒攻擊,但
可以保護同型強毒攻擊,由本試驗結果得知傳染性支氣管炎的死毒免疫效果不佳。活毒免疫需相同血清型且
足夠的劑量才有保護效果

Because the variations in serotypes of avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), vaccination of chicks by imported vaccine
fails to protect them from infection caused by domestic IBV isolates; therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the
effects of immunization by inactivated vaccine or by low pathogenic Taiwan isolates to protect from infection. The results
showed that immunization with inactivated vaccines failed to protect chicks from infection caused by the same strain.
Moreover, when chicks were immunized with live vaccine of low pathogenicity strain, no protection was found at the
dose of 103EID50/per bird ; but when the dosage was raised to 105EID50/per bird, chicks could be protected from the
challenge of the same serotype. From this study, we conclude that the immunization by inactivated vaccine can not
prevent chicks from infection of IBV and the protection is only limitted in using live vaccine of same serotype at high
dosage.
