人們對於中國天然藥草在化妝品上的應用,有很大的興趣。在中國醫藥書籍上,有許多的藥材記錄為具有抗老化的效果。由於自由基的生成與老化有關,因此我們選擇一些被記載為可使用於抗老化的藥材。分別用水、水和丙二醇(1:1)混合液萃取後,測定這些萃取液對超氧自由基生成之清除效果。
結果顯示,這些使用於抗老化中的藥材,以黨參、白芷、杜仲、女貞子之水萃取液,玉竹、生地黃、白朮、澤瀉、桃仁、雞血藤、薏苡仁之水和丙二醇混合液萃取的萃取液,具有較高的超氧自由基清除效果。可見,傳統中藥材可能具有抗老化的效果。
The application of Chinese herbs for anti-aging had been
recorded in the Chinese medical books. The usage of herbs as the ingredients in the cosmetics become to an interesting topic. Because aging related with the free radical formation. Some herbs have been noted as the anti-aging are the candidates for studying on the scavenge superoxide anion radacal effect. The extracts of the herbs are obtained by using the solvents of water, the mixtures of water and propylene glycol(1:1).
Our study demonstrates high scavenge effect of free radical formation in some extracts indicates that those herbs have the potential and could be applied in the cosmetics formulations. These includes extracts of Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Ligustri Fructus,Eucommiae Cortex and Codonopsitis Radix with water, the extract of Rehmanniae Radix et Rhizoma, Alismatis Rhizoma, Coicis Semen, PersicaeSemen,Atractyloidis Rhizoma,Polygonati Officinalis Rhizoma and Millettiae Caulis with the mixed solvent of water and propylene glycol(1:1).
