基本上，本篇論文乃是藉由兩個我比較熟悉的領域──工業設計與建築，來嘗試從不同的方向去思考建築設計的可能。
所討論的對象是一個機車設計工作室，我認為在本質上來說，它是一個「設計供未來使用的產品」的工業設計工作室，在思考這樣的空間時，我認為應該提供他們一個具有「未來性」的空間。藉由探討在近代設計史中，材料、技術的發明對工業設計及建築設計的影響，並從中整理出三者的關係圖，以此關係圖發展了設計的concept。第一個是重新探討骨、肉、皮在一個整體架構（工業設計或建築）中的關係。第二個是討論在設計工作中，因為「工具」使用的改變，對設計程序以及設計工作室實質空間的影響。其三是藉由探討產品與使用者的介面，去思考設計工作室中，空間對設計工作者的關係。
我的論文設計乃是架構在這些想法之下，去探求設計工作室空間使用及建築物對整體環境的合理配合，而設計的部分乃是我所提出之一連串的實驗及嘗試。

This thesis is accomplished by trying different approaches for architecture design through two fields that I have familiarized - architecture and industrial design.
The topic is Motor-Design Workshop. I think, essentially, it is an industrial design workshop of " design merchandizes for the future ". As considering such space, I think it should be provided by a space which possess " futurity ". From discussing the invention of materials and technique influence the architecture design and industrial design in modern design history, to arrange the connection chart of these three fields. Through the connection chart, organized my design concept.
First of all, re-examine the connection among structure, skin and space in a whole frame ( architecture or industrial design ). Secondly, talk about the changes of using " Tools " effects the design process and the actual space of design workshop. Thirdly, from discussing the interaction of products and users to consider the relationship between space and designers.
My thesis design is to search the space of design workshop and the reasonable arrangement for all environments, which create under these three points.
