近年來網路科技蓬勃發展,應用於網際網路上的各種技術亦被廣泛的開發,在這包羅萬象的虛擬環境下,最能引人興趣的便是各包含各種虛擬物體的圖片資料及3D多媒體動畫。在虛擬物體描繪方面,必須先完成物體的三維模型及表面材質的建構。然而由物體建構軟體所建構出的物體,與真實世界中的景物比較起來,無論在外型及材質方面都存有一種人工假造的感覺,如果能以量測的方式求得物體表面三維資訊及反射特性,虛擬世界的景物將表現得與現實環境下一樣逼真,將使得人們如同置身於虛擬實境中。
本論文將以計算機視覺的觀念,運用非接觸式主動感測技術,對物體進行三維模型重建,並以影像為基礎估測物體的表面反射特性。物體量測系統主要包含攝影機及單條紋光投射器兩個感測機構,並藉由三角測量法計算出待測體表面三維資訊。此外也利用單一光源對旋轉平檯上的待測物體進行照射,觀察物體旋轉後於各個角度下的成像,並以Phong model分析出物體的反射特性( 漫射項、散射項及鏡射項 )。於取得物體表面三維資訊及反射特性後,我們便可模擬於任意視角及光照環境下,繪製出最接近真實效果的物體影像。

In the virtual reality, the imaging of virtual objects and 3D multimedia amination are the most interesting events. To describe virtual objects, it is necessary to get the 3D model and surface reflectance of virtual objects. However, the artificial feeling in object imaging and meterials exists while the object is constructed by object construction softwares and compared with the scenery of real world. If 3D information and surface reflectance properties of the object can be obtained by measurement, one can render the object in the virtual environment just like a real object.
The concept of computer vision is used in this research. The 3D model of real objects is reconstructed by using active sensing technique and estimating surface reflectance properties of images. The proposed measurement system includes a fixed CCD camera、a single stripe light projector and a single light source, and computes 3D information of object surface is computed by using the method of triangulation. The single light source is applied to illuminate the object placed on a turn table, and the object is observed by the fixed CCD camera from various angle. Then, the surface reflectance coefficients (including ambient、diffuse、specular) of object are obtained by using the Phong model. After the 3D information and surface reflectance properties are obtained, the virtual image can be rendered in any changed position with different view points and light sources.
