本研究以理論及實驗探討多氣室及多出氣孔氣靜壓軸承在靜態和動態負載下的性能。氣靜壓軸承的動態性能與其在操作條件下的剛性及阻尼有直接關係,本研究以實驗方法量測軸承的動態反應,經由非線性最小平方根法求得實驗之剛性及阻尼值並與理論值比較。
平面式氣靜壓軸承中,多氣室軸承相對於多出氣口軸承有較大的剛性,實驗阻尼特性則相似,此結果與理論預測相同。實驗結果顯示,在已知負載之多氣室氣靜壓軸承靜態測試中,實驗測得的氣膜厚度及剛性係數與理論值接近。本研究採用之方法可求出氣體潤滑軸承之實驗阻尼值,供後續理論研究之比對。

This study deals with the procedure to estimate the stiffness and damping of aerostatic bearings experimentally. Two types of flat-pad bearings, inherently and recessed orifice compensated bearings, were tested and compared under dynamic conditions. Nonlinear least squares curve fitting technique was used to estimate the stiffness and damping parameters from the dynamic responses of studied bearing pads. Several minimization methods were used to minimize the variance during NLS analysis. The suggested procedure during curve fitting procedure is outlined in this report. The experimentally determined stiffness shows good agreement with the theoretical prediction. This report provides a general procedure for dynamic analysis of air bearings from experimental data.
