在報社內外變遷下,報社成員的工作壓力成為目前新興研究之一。但歷年研究多偏重於工作壓力與其他變數的關係,研究對象也多針對整體新聞從業人員、記者、商業廣告業務人員作研究,對於報社編輯工作壓力來源之實證研究卻付諸闕如。
本研究旨在探討報社編輯工作壓力來源之實證研究,希望瞭解報社編輯所面對的工作壓力來源及工作壓力認知現象為何。本研究基於過去工作壓力來源與工作壓力的實證研究建立架構及問卷。本研究針對北市五家報社進行問卷調查,再依結果進行資料分析。本研究使用問卷調查方式進行調查,問卷發收方式為研究者親身訪問。問卷發出共227份,回收177份有效問卷,回收率為78%。問卷Cronbach α=0.715,達到高信度標準。
資料分析方式包括:一、對資料進行描述性分析;二、運用變異數分析與T檢定瞭解各工作壓力來源是否對工作壓力具有差異。當經過變異數分析檢定,發現有顯著差異時,則進行Scheffe事後多重比較檢定,以進一步瞭解差異來自哪些群體之間,除此之外,並用多重檢定檢驗是否有共同影響的情形。最後以Pearson積差相關檢定,分析工作壓力認知之間的關係。問卷結果並輔以深度訪談,以求切實解釋編輯壓力現況。
本研究發現,編輯工作壓力認知中,最高為工作取向,其次為職場生涯發展,最低為人際取向,並且工作取向、人際取向、職場生涯發展取向與工作壓力均成極顯著的正相關,而性別對人際取向有很顯著的差異,組織型態對職場生涯發展取向很顯著的差異。本研究所提的報社編輯各變數對工作壓力的差異、與工作壓力認知現況,可供報社管理者及後續工作壓力研究者作一參考。
Because of the newspapers’ external and internal environmental changes, newspaper exployees’ job stress has become one of the new study fields. Most emperical researches were concerned with journalists and AEs, no research so far has touched the editors’ job stress.
The purpose of the study is to examine how strong the newspaper editors feel about job stress, and what factors are relating to their stress, if any, including personal and organizational. By using the questionnaires developed after reviewing the literature, a total of 23 questionnaires developed, in which the Likert-type five-point scale was adopted to measure the sujects’ perception about job stress. These questionnaires were then distributed to the 227 newspaper editors. They currently working at five newspapers which offices in Taipei. 177 were returned with a successful rate of 78%.
Six statistical methods be used. Descriptive analysis are used to analyze what are the ediror’s main pressures. ANOVA, t-test, Scheffe test, and Multi-factor ANOVA are used to analyze whether the pressures are caused by different sources significantly. Peason product-moment correlation analysis are used examine their relationship. Depth interviews help the researchers to understand fully the editors’ stress.
The study finds the editors’ stresses come from 1.“job orientation”, 2.“job-career development orientation”, and 3. “relationships at job orientation”. This study found that “job orientation”, “job-career development orientation”, “relationships at job orientation” has high ,and positive correlation with job stress. Being one of the stressors, “sex” has obvious significance on “relationships at job orientation”, and “organization form” has obvious significance on “job-career development orientation”. The result can be used for reference to newspaper managers and later researchers.
