臺灣博碩士論文加值系統

本研究以1956-1997年432筆國立政治大學新聞學研究所博
碩士論文為研究樣本，分為1956-1975年及1976-1997年兩研究
時期，應用引用文分析法（citation analysis）中的共引文分
析法（co-citation），進行四個研究問題的分析探討：
1. 傳播學學科領域的基本單元，是哪些傳播學的專門研究？
2. 傳播學研究發展的歷史演變。
3. 最常被引用的國內及國外重要作品。
4. 被引用次數最高的國內及國外作者。
研究結果顯示，新聞學、大眾傳播、傳播研究方法及政治
傳播均為兩時期持續的研究主題重心；傳播學的專門研究中，
其研究內容重點隨時間的改變而有所不同，且專門研究間相互
影響與依存的關係強烈。此外，傳播學之父施蘭姆（Wilbur
Schramm）是被引用次數最多的國外重要著者；徐佳士及潘家慶
分別為1956-1975年及1976-1997年間最常被引用的國內作者。
施蘭姆的著作"The Process & Effects of Mass Communication"
及Denis McQuail所著的"Mass Communication Theory:
An Introduction"分別為1956-1975年及1976-1997年間最常
被引用的國外作品。徐佳士的著作"大眾傳播理論"則是國內最
重要的傳播學著作。

Abstract:
This research is sampling the 432 theses and dissertations of the department of Journalism in National Chengchi University, which are published from 1956-1997. These samples are divided into two groups; one is those which are printed from 1956-1975, and the other are printed from 1976-1997.
The co-citation method, which is part of citation analysis, was adopted when the author analysed the following 4 topics:
1. What are the specialities of the basic units of communication research?
2. The Historical development of communication research.
3. The most frequently cited local and foreign works.
4. The local and foreign authors whose works are cited most often.
The result reveals that Journalism, Mass Communication, Methodology of Communication Research and Political Communication have been always the subjects of researches. In the field of communication research, the focus of each study differs as time changes, and the influence and relationship between each study are quite strong. Moreover, Wilbur Schramm, the father of communication science, is the foreign author whose works are the most frequently cited ones, and Jia-Shr Shiu is the local author whose works are cited most often in the period of 1950-1975, while Jia-Ching Pan is the most popular one in the period of 1976-1997. Wilbur Schramm''s book "The Process & Effects of Mass Communication" and Denis McQuail''s work "Mass Communication Theory: An Introduction" are the most frequently cited works in the periods of 1956-1975 and 1976-1997 respectively. "The Mass Communication Theory" written by Jia-Shr Shiu seems to be the most important work of communication science in Taiwan.
