The 21th century is the era of a knowledge economic boom. The issues that knowledge management deals with are not only the main pursuit in business industry to become more competitive, but also an important management tool in within. The chain store system must build up a complete and competition knowledge management model that fact more compete, because operate the chain store system that management knowledge is important.
The subject of this thesis is the chain store system in Taiwan. The main focus in this research is the management model in organization. In this model, the relationship among organizational culture category, organizational knowledge characteristic, knowledge management characteristic of organization, knowledge management way in organization, characteristic of organizational members and the level of satisfaction in organizational knowledge management can be found. This research tries to build up a knowledge management model in chain store system and hope it could be beneficial to the management in chain store system.
Through multivariate analysis, we proof that organizational culture will influence the level of satisfaction of organizational knowledge management as well as characteristic of organizational knowledge management. The way of knowledge management in the organization will influence the level of satisfaction of organizational knowledge management; but the scale of organization and the education level of members will not influence the level of satisfaction of organizational knowledge management.
The influence of organization culture to the level of satisfaction of organizational knowledge management will be interfered by knowledge management characteristic of organization. Moreover, through path analysis, knowledge management characteristic of organization will influence the level of satisfaction of organizational knowledge management through knowledge management feature of organization.
Combining the results of this research, some suggestions are made for the chain store system owner: to adjust organizational culture, to bring up the knowledge management feature of organization, and to use the medium of organizational knowledge management in a right way. This will ameliorate the level of satisfaction in knowledge management, improve the ability of business operating and increase the competency of organization.
