中文摘要
在知識經濟時代競爭優勢的來源,只有依靠知識。而根據Papaconstantinou(1997)教授對OECD國家的研究,高科技產業的出口競爭力取決於研究發展,其他產業的出口表現主要受技術擴散的影響,而市場競爭亦有助於促進新技術的供給與應用。換言之,在知識經濟時代,高科技產業唯有藉由不斷的研究發展與創新,方能提高競爭力。
本研究以Nonaka(1998)提出三種知識層級為基礎,藉由問卷調查,驗證組成台灣高科技產業研發部門的組織能耐及影響研發績效的知識層級。並配合大量實證資料的取得,除了發現主要的組織能耐與知識學習能力外,瞭解高科技產業研發部門的競爭優勢、及知識學習能力及知識層級與研發績效的關係之外,並將這些關係之結果與研究文獻比較。另外從企業之問卷調查實施中,除了驗證本研究問題外,其研究成果將對台灣高科技產業研發部門的競爭力提供一個新的策略方向。本研究主要結論有下列四點:
(1)知識學習能力對組織能耐具有高度影響 。
(2)組織能耐與研發績效具有高度影響。
(3)整體組織能耐越高的企業,其研發績效較高。
(4)組織能耐在知識學習能力與研發績效關係中具有顯著中介效果。
Abstract
In the knowledge-based economy year, it is important competitive source for the enterprise to acquire knowledge. According to Papaconstantinou''s (1997) research findings on OCED country, the R&D was the key factor of exporting competitiveness for high-tech industry. The exporting performance of other industries was mainly affected by technology diffusion. Additionally, the market competition facilitated the supply and application of new technology. In order to promote the competitiveness, high-tech industry should conduct sustainable R&D and innovative. The study is grounded in the Nonaka''s knowledge layers theory on organizational capabilities, which argues the development of business core competency is highly linked to its competitive advantage. The paper will present the results from questionnaire survey that address the relationship of Knowledge learning ability &organizational capabilities and R&D performance in high-tech industry in Taiwan. Finally, the study will also provide a new strategic direction of R&D department competitiveness for Taiwan''s high-tech industry. The conclusions of the study are as follows:
(1)There is a significant positive correlation relationship among the knowledge learning ability and organizational capabilities.
(2)Organizational capabilities have positive and significant influences on R&D performance.
(3)The stronger overall organizational capabilities is;the higher R&D performance is.
(4)The intervening effect of organizational capabilities between knowledge learning ability and R&D performance is significant.
