近年來,高價碘試劑由於它的低毒性、易處理的特質,所以廣泛地應用在有機合成上。在一系列的高價碘試劑中,其中以phenyliodine (III) diacetate (PIDA)和phenyliodine (III) bis(trifluoroacetate) (PIFA) 是最常被使用的二種高價碘試劑。
N-Methoxy-N-methylamides ( Weinreb amides )可有效性的與有機金屬試劑進行反應合成酮類或與氫試劑反應而合成醛類,因此在化學反應上應用非常廣泛。另一方面,oxazoles基團是許多具生物活性天然物的重要結構特徵,也常被應用於合成的起始物。因此,我們計劃各別利用高價碘試劑phenyliodine (III) bis(trifluoroacetate) (PIFA) 及phenyliodine (III) diacetate (PIDA)來進行N-methoxy-N-methyl-(E,E)-2,4-dienamides 和2-methyl-5-aryl disubstituted oxazoles的合成。

In recent years, hypervalent iodine reagents have attracted much attention as useful synthetic reagents. These hypervalent iodine reagents have been extensively used in organic synthesis due to their low toxicity and easy handling. In the family of hypervalent iodine compounds, phenyliodine (III) diacetate (PIDA) and phenyliodine (III) bis(trifluoro- acetate) (PIFA) are the most frequently used and easily available reagents.
N-Methoxy-N-methylamides (Weinreb amides) are useful intermediat- es in organic synthesis since they react efficiently with organometallics and hydrides to produce the ketones and the aldehydes, respectively. On the other hand, oxazoles are important constituents in biologically active natural products and served as versatile starting materials in synthetic transformations. We report here a direct and efficient method for preparation of N-methoxy-N-methyl-(E,E)-2,4-dienamides and 2-methyl-5-aryl disubstituted oxazoles by using PIFA and PIDA, respectively.
