隨著供應鏈管理、JIT採購、QR\ECR與TQM等觀念的發展,製造業者與供應方的關係已由傳統的對立關係轉變為現今的合作關係,由於雙方關係的轉變而使兩者間皆獲得實質上的利益,因此也可看出買賣雙方間具有相互的影響。
本研究以現今廠商最為注重的品質、交期、價格、技術等四項因素作為一綜合指標來代表供應商的能力,以探討其對製造業者外在表現因素的影響。而在製造商的表現方面是以製造業者在市場的競爭要項來表示,所謂的競爭要項即是製造商依照自己本身的能力與市場的現況所做出的優先考量因素,其中包括了品質、成本、交期、彈性、創新與服務等六項。本研究以印刷電路板業、橡膠業、被動元件業與家電業等製造廠商做為研究對象,在回收的108份有效問卷中利用線性結構分析的方法進行實證的研究。結果顯示供應商的能力會對製造商的六種外在表現皆具有正向的影響。因此在現今競爭激烈的市場上,製造業者要能夠佔有一席之地必須加強與供應方之間的關係,並且在選擇供應商時需考量供應商本身各項能力的整合情形,以求能對製造商在市場上的表現有較佳的影響。
The advancements in Supply Chain Management have prompted companies to team up with their supply chain members for better competitiveness. The emergence of JIT purchasing, quick response, supplier management has changed the relationships between manufacturing firms and their perspective suppliers toward a working entity that needs to be fully integrated in order to compete in the fast changing environment. It is, therefore, the issue of how a supplier’s capability to integrate internally would affect its supplied firms’ performance that stimulated this study.
The purpose of this research is to explore the impacts of suppliers’ capabilities in integrating quality, delivery, price, and technological abilities on their supplied manufacturers’ competitive performances in product quality, cost structures, delivery performance, flexibility, innovativeness, and service. The research used linear structured models to verify the relationship between suppliers’ capability and manufacturing performances. The results of the research support all the hypotheses. All of the manufacturing performances are positively associated with the suppliers’ capability index. The results indicate that manufacturing firms need to choose their suppliers with great care since their performances in an intense marketplace would require the inclusion of suppliers with well-integrated capabilities.
